Flame Worked Glass

Lampworking is a type of glasswork where a torch is used to melt the glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by blowing and shaping with tools, hand movements and the skilled use of additional heat/hot glass and gravity.  There are many different techniques in flameworking that encompass blown work using tubing, sculptural work using rod, bead work of many styles and forms and/or combinations of techniques to make just about anything.
